Coaching types

We can distinguish three types of coaching :  individual coaching, team coaching (team building) and organisation development.

Individual coaching is about supporting people in their professional development.

Team coaching (or team building) is about supporting a team, mainly to reinforce its cohesion.  Team coaching also includes individual coaching for its leader and sometimes some of the members of the team.

Organisation development is the coaching of the senior management team, focusing on the company organisation (vision, strategy, management systems).  Organisation development also includes individual coaching (for the executive) as well as team coaching.
